Job Summary We are looking for a Member of Technical Staff to join our R&D division. You will be partnering with senior business and product leadership to do great things.

    scale automated test infrastructure. You are an excellent communicator with the capability of quickly picking up the complicated healthcare space.

    You are a tenacious, but nimble learner, who demonstrates design & engineering excellence. The Team : Platform division is working towards making athenahealth Emerge as the de facto healthcare development platform and ecosystem that supports the rapid innovation and delivery of delightful, fit-

    for-purpose, business apps and services. We are focused on improving developer productivity, lowering risk during development and production, keeping current product suites reliable and scalable & create additional revenue stream out of Platform as a Service as we solidify our position as the healthcare backbone Job Responsibilities Produce accurate, unambiguous technical design specifications to the appropriate detail Deliver customer value in the form of high quality software components and services in adherence with RPR policies on Security, performance, longevity and Integration testing Proactively identify and proposes new, alternative technology in order to create scalable implementations and achieve results Act as the subject matter expert for area of assignment Advise and train members of the team to maximize overall productivity and effectiveness of the team Work collaboratively across the Technology and Product organizations to ensure alignment towards business goals Typical Qualifications 2-

    5 years of experience in an engineering role Experience in an Agile environment preferred Knowledge of modern programming languages such as : C#, C , Perl, Java, Python, and javascript / jQuery Knowledge of Unix / Linux, Big Data, SQL, NOSQL, and various other technologies Experience with object oriented programing, relational database technologies, distributed computing tech (Hadoop, spark), RESTful API, WebUI (HTML 5) and Modern JS frameworks Experience with iOS and Android environments About athenahealth Our Mission : To unleash our collective potential to transform healthcare.
