The candidate has to work as an individual contributor.
The candidate is accountable to perform integration of new trading partners, work on new interfaces, setup messages to / from GM SAP systems.
The candidate should have deeper understanding of various business processes.
Individual should be able to convert functional requirement into technical specification & implement solutions and guide junior team members to implement the solutions in hand.
The individual should also have work experience in offerings like SAP ABAP, core EDI processes, mapping & basics of communication, mapping tools.
The individual should have strong knowledge of EDIFACT, IDOC & SAP commercial operations.
The Individual should be able to define and implement integrated Process like P2P, material management, supply chain & logistics, O2C business transactions etc.

Daily Monitor SM37 for any JOB failures in International systems
Provide expertise to ad-hoc request
Help to build maps & writing good spacs

Specific Job Experience or Skills Needed
In depth understanding of at least one major EDI standard (e.g. EDIFACT, X12, TRADACOM).
Working knowledge of at least one major value added network (e.g. GXS) and one other message exchange protocol (e.g. AS2, ftp).
Programming / development experience on an EDI translator (e.g. webMethods or similar) that demonstrates candidate can work either as analyst or developer.
Can analyze, document and develop a current or future business process. This should include identifying gaps to be resolved, preparing mapping specifications for developers and documenting a unit / system / regression test plan.
Resolves re-occurring or critical issues through root-cause analysis and proposing solutions.
Capable of building a work plan for their own project or as part of a larger cross functional project.
Working knowledge of an order to cash or procurement to pay business processes for a CPG manufacturer.
Functional knowledge of EDI integration with SAP modules SD, MM, FI.
SAP ABAP programming knowledge related to idoc and / or functional modules enhancement.
Understands fundamentals of project management such as cost / benefit analysis, estimating and scope creep.
Strong interpersonal skills, including excellent oral and written communications, with colleagues, internal / external teams and the business users.
Has desire and capability to learn new business processes and their associated EDI messages.
Will own and manage multiple activities simultaneously to meet deadlines and deliver results consistently.
Can work both independently and as part of a project team to meet objectives agreed. Reports status clearly and issues openly.
Capable of mentoring and sharing knowledge with colleagues as part of cross training initiatives. This may involve documentation, leading discussion groups and giving presentations.
