DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
Provide a professional, advisory and support service to the Chief Engineer to assist in meeting the strategic goals of the department.
Control, initiate and undertake assigned capital projects from design and pricing to construction and commissioning.
Analyze, monitor and maintain records relating to Utility costs throughout the Hotel. Oversee the general cost control aspects of maintenance.
Carry out regular inspections of plant and equipment and ensure that inspections required by Government authorities are conducted and documented.
Carry out general room inspections and preventative maintenance inspections including the scheduling of all these works.
Conduct walk through and visually access the safe and efficient maintenance and operation of the Physical structure of the hotel, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems and other related equipment Control and supervise the Fire Protection Preventative Maintenance Programme.
Check all Fire and Engineering safety features to ensure they operate at peak efficiency.
Confirm that all associates report for duty punctually wearing the correct outfit and lapel pin at all times and assist in the building of an efficient team of associates by taking an active interest in their welfare, safety and development and have a complete understanding and adhere to the hotel’s rule and regulations.
Monitoring and follow up on the Preventive Maintenance program for the hotel.
New Vendor development
Planning, Monitoring, Follow up and execution of preventive maintenance
Any additional work / responsibility assigned by Chief Engineer.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES :
Technical high school or Engineering college graduated with a major in Mechanical, Electrical or Architecture
Minimum 5years experience in Hotel Business operation mechanical / electrical experience with small / large size of high rise building maintenance.
Good Administration skills
Strong Knowledge of Engineering field.
Pro-active approach to follow local and international industry progress and activities
Hands-on approach to all operational aspects
Excellent Communication Skills
Fluency in English
