Job Purpose

  • Assist the Food & Beverage Manager, in order to provide the highest level of hospitality in the F & B outlet. Achieve total guest satisfaction and organizational profitability through effective utilization of all resources.
  • Continuously delight the customer by offering trend setting and innovative products and services.

    Managerial

  • Assist the F & B Manager in Planning, Forecasting and Budgeting the revenues and cost for the outlet.
  • Staffing and Scheduling of the department and allocation of duties.
  • Develop systems and procedures that achieve higher cost efficiency and guest satisfaction.
  • Facilitate learning and development for all the team members of the department.
  • Operational
  • Supervise and direct the daily activities of the outlet.
  • Work with the outlet chefs in the area of cuisine, menu planning & design for the various outlets / Banquets.
  • Ensure through regular monitoring of GSTS and feedback, prompt, efficient and accurate service to all guests.
  • Assist the F & B Manager in organizing food festivals and developing guest loyalty and retention programmes.
  • Ensure that all the operational standards set for all the equipments & processes are followed.
  • Maximize F & B profitability by implementing the cost containment strategies for all the outlets.
  • Assist the F & B Mgr in order to prepare the promotion and marketing / PR plans for various outlets and execute the same.
  • Conduct refresher-training programmes for the staff and guide the new members of the department.
  • Maintain regular contacts with corporate and individual customers, and build strong relationships with them.
  • Stay informed about local, national and international best practices / trends in food service, interior design, technology and entertainment in F & B.
  • Ensure that the department procures the best quality raw material and cost effective equipment.
  • Job Requirements

    Excellent customer service skills. Awareness of health and safety and personal hygiene the workplace. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor of Hotel Management in Hospitality / Tourism / Hotel Management or equivalent.
