Job Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will work on one or more of the following job functions : Data Analytics and Modeling / Strategy development oEvaluate the sourced data from internal and external sources to measure the usage in modeling and strategy development workoDevelop high end modeling and strategy development solutions for Credit risk management for Merchant underwriting and monitoringoPartner with SMEs to understand the data, analyze, document and share key findings oLeverage data to generate useful insights by assessing key performance indicators / trends and present to business leadersoRegular monitoring of the developed and implemented models and rules to see the timely deterioration and take action accordingly.
  • oPartner with Data strategy and Data capabilities team to : oGuide them for implementation of credit and fraud risk decision rules and statistical models in productionoShape up the design of a scalable Data Repository that can be used for credit and fraud risk modeling, analytics and reporting oGuide them in the development and maintenance of a central / robust Data Dictionary oGuide them to develop sound and efficient Data Quality monitoring and issue resolution process oDeploy analytical capabilities to develop end to end modeling framework using SAS / R / Python

    Job Requirements

  • Master's Degree required in a Computer Science / IT or another quantitative discipline (Mathematics / Economics)
  • Strong technical skills and problem solving ability with proficiency in SQL / SAS, Excel or other analytical tools / programming languages such as R, Hive, Python
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas : risk / marketing data analytics, reporting / MIS, data capabilities or data product management will be required
  • Exposure / knowledge of statistical / financial modeling in FINTECH / payments domain will be highly desired
  • Must possess good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects on a concurrent basis and be able to meet deadlines under minimal supervision
  • Ability to work in a team environment and to collaborate with other internal staff and external vendor / partners
  • Eligible to work in India
