Role Summary / Purpose

An energetic person who is capable of applying model-based design and verification tools and methods to create the next generation of control solutions for a full range of HVAC equipment and systems.

Essential Responsibilities

Work closely with global & local team to ensure controls system requirements are captured, structured, and modeled

Design and implement control algorithms via a rigorous analytical approach based on the MATLAB / Simulink platform

Follow standard procedures to automatically generate embedded code from models for specific embedded platforms.

Use standard model-based verification tools and infrastructure including model-in-the-loop, software-in-the-loop, and hardware-in-the-loop simulation to validate the control software

Able to verify the control software in lab and support field trial

Take the initiative to identify and advocate for continuous improvement in our processes and tools

REQUIRED SKILLS

Qualifications : BE / ME or BTech / MTech Electronics / Electrical / Control Systems with 4+ years of experience in below areas : -

Knowledge of dynamic system simulation of controls and equipment using physics-based or data-driven models

Knowledge of feedback control theory and application.

Demonstrated skills in control system algorithm development and implementation into an embedded platform

Proficiency in use of MATLAB / Simulink or similar tool for control design, verification, and code generation

Demonstrated use of model-based verification techniques

PREFERRED SKILLS

Knowledge of Simulink toolboxes Stateflow, Simulink Test, Simulink Check, Simulink Coverage

Knowledge of HW / SW embedded control system architectures

Knowledge of software languages (C, C++) and reuse principles

Use and familiarity with version control principles and tools such as Git

Use and familiarity requirements management and traceability to models
