What you will do :
At Stryker, you will design and implement complex concepts and draft design documentation for Navigation & Robotic-assisted surgery products.
You will work closely with peers in software engineering, software quality assurance and project and product management to develop software that meets customer and system requirements.
Ensure a smooth transition from the product’s concept phase to maturity phase.
Provide technical solutions to complex problems.
You will follow the defined design practices including Agile methodology and use the sound software engineering principles to ensure that the application software products are safe, robust and user friendly.
Follow the company’s quality process and complies with quality management system procedures.
Participate in software planning and estimating activities.
Attends and supports engineering and surgeon review labs.
Mentor / guide junior members of the team
What you need :
College graduate with a degree focused on (or equivalent in) Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fields.
3+ years of experience in professional software development.
Highly skilled in C++, OOPS, Object oriented design and analysis, Multithreading (POSIX).
Expert level knowledge in Algorithms and data structures.
At least 2+ years’ experience in creating GUI applications using Qt, QML / QtQuick.
Very good exposure of using QT Creator IDE
Good knowledge of verification methodologies; Use of software developments tools, such as compilers, interpreters, programming editors, debuggers, source code control, defect management.
Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory standards and quality processes.
Good exposure to writing Unit & Integration Tests
Must be able and flexible to work well under changing priorities in a high energy and demanding environment.
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Goal oriented with strong sense of responsibility and team player.
Knowledge of 3D graphics and geometry is a plus, working knowledge of 3D Rendering using OpenGL or DirectX
Experience in image processing and algorithms development is a plus
