As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company.

Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

As a Program Manager, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects. You will plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project life-cycle.

This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks, and clearly communicating goals to project stakeholders. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres, and it's your job to keep all the players coordinated on the project's progress and deadlines.

Beyond Geo, Geo Data Operations (GDO) also provides operational support to several product areas for Geo Data-related efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Manage large projects from concept to launch, developing and coordinating realistic project estimates, plans, and / or metrics, working and communicating effectively with Engineering, Product Management, Quality Assurance, Operations, and customers.
  • Understand Google products, internal tools and processes, and leverage those to push automation and increase work efficiency.
  • Re-engineer our current processes and bringing about step changes. Re-imagine what we do to bring about transformational change in operations achieving large business impact.
  • Leverage data and analytics as the basis for informing process transformation while working with senior stakeholders and influencing change.
  • Keep abreast with industry standards, tools and processes, and influence adoption within operations. Collaborate with other google teams working on process re-engineering while adapting best practices and tools.
  • Minimum qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent practical experience
  • 8 years of program management experience
  • Experience in any of Process Consulting, Process Improvement, Six Sigma, Agile Project Management, Lean Manufacturing, Lean
  • Experience with Business Analysis / Analysis Insight / Analytics / Data Analytics
  • Preferred qualifications :

  • MBA or equivalent degree
  • Experience working with large data sets for data driven decision making
  • Extensive Project / Large Operations management experience
  • Ability to effectively operate with flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment and influence and communicate cross-functionally with all levels of management
  • Ability to define projects and execute within timelines, with multiple stakeholders and proven ability to deliver projects on-time
