The Search Specialist (SS) is responsible for planning, executing and reporting on organic and paid search campaigns for pharmaceutical industry clients.
The role requires close collaboration with web developers, copywriters, editors, digital strategists, project managers, and account managers.
The successful candidate must be able to distill insights from numerous data points to advocate for specific tactics.
Strong communication skills are required to clearly explain issues and opportunities to colleagues and clients. While teamwork is essential to the delivery of client work product, the candidate must also be able to work independently on search-specific responsibilities.
Primary Job Responsibilities :
Contribute regularly and proactively in team discussions and offer solutions to challenges
Deliver accurate work within timelines
Collaborate with PMs regarding priorities, timelines, and estimates
Project enthusiasm and affinity for change
Perform SEO audits
Ensure SEO friendly content development (eg, meta tags, page copy, URL creation)
Set up Search Console accounts (submit XML sitemaps, identify errors, and recommend solutions)
Perform keyword research
Create Google ad accounts, obtain Pharma certification, and upload approved keywords, ads, sitelinks, etc
Create SEM ads, SEO reports, and SEM reports
Take ownership and pride in work; double check all work, ensure all questions have been answered, and see the work through to completion
Manage and bill time accurately. Proactively seek work to assure continuous job flow and minimize downtime between assignments
Initiate communication or ask questions to assure clear direction and accuracy
Communicate consistently with supervisor regarding workload, challenges, and issues and brainstorm solutions

3-4 years of experience with SEO and SEM
At least 1 year of experience in the pharmaceutical sector
At least 1 year of agency experience
Proficiency in SEO & SEM tools (eg, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Marin, Google Ads Editor)
Certifications in Google Ads & Google Analytics preferred
