Overall objective of the role is to drive system and process improvement resulting in greater efficiency and effectiveness through engagement across key HR stakeholders.
Identify and solution systems and process improvements impacting effectiveness and efficiency of Field C&B across the region
Facilitate and consult with Global / Regional HRIS / HR BAT / GDM / Internal HR stakeholders / Legal and the Field C&
B team to identify process gaps and solution. (eg legal matrix review, consent processes, job title change processes; allowances audits, post pay planning allowance changes, India base pay driving greater automation of these processes)
Manage the in-region survey completion in relation to compensation i.e. : monthly pulse survey submission and overall management of all survey submission required within region
Lead change management in region as required by Global for new or updated compensation systems and processes eg Pay Planning, Inspire, Tableau
Point of contact for any Global / Regional Project Management where a single point of contact is required eg LE Harmonization, OT / Shift / On-call, PSH adding value to the projects by driving consistency, compliance, governance and representing Region in Global forums.
Represent regional viewpoint globally and engage and enable Field C & B by providing input / influence on the development and execution of compensation related strategic programs and policies that affect the region
Point of contact for TMSD and Chat to communicate and educate on Regional Compensation projects / programs
Systems support and management on new or updated requirements and lead the change implementation with stakeholders (eg changes to allowance items set-up, UAT testing on any new systems)
Regional point of contact to provide expertise and support to Field C&B on system usage and capability leveraging off Global stakeholders eg how to run report, setting up in region reporting requirements.
Work with key stakeholders to ensure accuracy and timeliness of compensation data maintained in the systems (Data Governance) this will involve understanding how compensation data is being maintained and process flow of how compensation data is changed
Programmatic / Business as usual activities as required eg Pay Planning, Inspire, Market Pay, Mercer Win keeping team updated on timelines, actions, outcomes
Support execution of India compensation programs
Support of India BU Comp requests and implementation as required
Solid understanding of compensation frameworks, philosophy and processes
Solid survey and data analysis skills
Demonstrated compensation background in the following areas base salary, incentives, LTI, variable pay, job evaluation, data analysis, research and cost modelling
Strong knowledge of Workday and excel.
Stakeholder engagement skills and ability to influence and drive outcomes across multiple internal stakeholders
Influencing / consulting and change management skills
Knowledge of the legal frameworks across APJ
Typically requires 8+ years of related experience with a bachelors degree
