Join us on our mission to continue leading the future of snacking around the world by offering the right snack , for the right moment , made the right way PURPOSE OF THE ROLE This role involves developing, managing and continuously improving a comprehensive sanitation program that encompasses employee safety, equipment, infrastructure and people development in order to ensure safe food for our consumers. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Plant Sanitation Lead provides leadership and technical expertise to the organization in sanitation, pest control and Hygiene requirements, root cause analysis, and corrective / preventive action.
Ensure Food Safety, Employee Safety & Sanitation Programs are developed, complied to and executed with excellence.
Improve efficiencies in support of plant productivity i.e. on time start-ups, turnover time, sustainability water use / waste / recycling
Leverage external vendors to improve sanitation effectiveness and efficiency i.e chemical, pest control, contracted services.
Communicate & champion site sanitation vision
Commercialization / project liaison with BD / Engineering responsible for Sanitary design i.e. equipment, infrastructure, foreign material control and sanitation program qualification.
Support risk assessment / management by conducting technical investigations.
Develop functional / technical skills of sanitation team and site
Enables effective execution of sanitation & Pest control programs at the manufacturing sites as per Mondelez quality policy requirements
Acts as liaison between plants and corporate technical teams to provide training and support to address sanitation, pest control and infrastructure and equipment hygienic design challenges.
Stays current on industry standards and continuous process improvement on emerging clean in place (CIP) processes and systems.
Effectively be able to work cross functionally to execute against sanitation related tasks, prioritize level of importance, and escalate opportunities around staffing and training gaps.
