Security Advisor - GTM Chennai, India Full Time Associate About the role The objective of the role is to win the trust of customers and enable the Go-To- Market (GTM) strategy of the company by objectively representing the information security posture of the company.
This role will be responsible for working closely with the Customer & Customer facing teams such as Sales, Pre-Sales, Channel Sales, Customer Success, Customer Support and Deals desk teams to provide a single point of contact to handle queries around information security from prospective customers and existing customers.
Going with our Customer First approach, the role is key to provide to customers the adequate, contextual and timely information around information security.
The scope of the role includes responding to RFPs, security and data privacy questionnaires, and handle calls jointly with other teams from the Go-To-Market functions.
Given the nature of the role, it is important that the members performing this role understand and constantly stay updated about the internal developments around information security across all products.
Also, given the exposure to the market that the role provides, the members performing this role are well positioned to provide feedback to the Information Security and Product teams about the common requirements from the market.
Given the wide range of time zones that we cater to, the role members will be aligned to different time zones when required.
Who is an Ideal Candidate? 1-3 years of experience on customer facing roles related to information security delivery and enablement.
Alternatively, prior experience on sales or pre-sales of information security solutions or products is desired. Knowledge on AWS cloud and security components is a great plus.
Good verbal and written communication skills to communicate concisely and unambiguously is a must, given the nature of the role.
