Description  To Develop and review the operational plans for Hospitals and ensure that the plans are in the line with the objectives of the Organization. To conduct monthly review meetings of all managers to review performance of previous month, targets for the current month and devising action plans for improving performance. To Monitor and ensure the hospital and allied department meet operational targets. To Ensure quality of service given are equivalent to set standards. To liaise with marketing department to ensure smooth coordinated working of corporate relations and facilities relevant sales operations pertaining to the designated territory. To provide inputs to doctors on improvements in current equipment’s, new process, etc., in order to improve the functioning of all medical equipment’s. To recommend manpower requirements based on operational efficiency. To Conduct periodic analysis of profitability of operations and devise plans to reduce costs. To ensure good industrial relations are maintained at the hospital. To Review the operations vis-a- vis plans periodically and ensure that adequate steps have been taken to coordinate with other departments within the organizations on revised plans, if any. To conduct performance appraisal for personnel under him and proposing increments/ to promotions for them. To identify training needs of his subordinates and department personnel. To set up systems and procedures relating to all activities of his department. To prepare budget related to his departments. To participate and contribute to departmental quality initiatives. To be aware of departments performance and objective. To carryout data collection/ support in data collection. To adhere to the safety norms of hospital, follow both patient and staff safety rules.
