Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant, Presales

Should have exposure to components like Cataloging, Data Lineage, Metadata and Master Data Management, Data Quality

Data Visualization Should have exposure to some of the tools like PowerBi, Qlikview, Tableau, Looker, etc.

Predictive Analytics Exposure to AI and Machine Learning would be an advantage

Should be bilingual and understand the technology along with domain

Big Data / Data Lake Should be well versed with Hadoop, Spark, Cloudera, MapR, Flume, Kafka, Hive, Impala etc.

Cloud based services Should be well versed with AWS, Azure services used for Data storage and Data ingestion / transformation like S3, ADF, Glue etc.

IPaaS and Traditional Data Integration Tools Should have exposure to atleast two ETL tools like Informatica, Dell Boomi, Mulesoft Pentaho, ODI etc.

Modernizing Datawarehouse Bring thought leadership and an enterprise point of view on modernizing the datawarehouse (exposure to MPP, Columnar databases etc.)

The role entails creating frameworks / jump start data models / data fabrics / PoVs in the area of Data Architecture, Data Orchestration, Data Governance.

SME should also be able to enhance Genpact deal win ratio & margins through the right solution. This will require in-depth understanding of our delivery model, and client relationship management.

Independently participating in RFP responses & proactive pursuits in the area of Data Engineering.

Conceptualizing and designing solutions, and articulating their value proposition to clients

Ability to bring in high end analytic techniques which are practical

Generating proposals and delivering presentations, demos and proof-of-concepts to showcase capabilities and transformation solutions

Liaise with Account Managers & Enterprise Sales Force to penetrate and up sell into existing accounts (both hunting and farming), positioning a variety of analytics led value propositions

Proactively identify niche opportunity areas within Data Engineering, and help define value proposition for analytics

Represent the Data Engineering Business in client discussions on RFX responses, trade shows and other industry networking events

Provide Strategic Onsite Consulting & Solutioning to customers during their modernizing datawarehouse journey, especially in design and implementation of data-centric architectures.

Provide Onsite / Offshore solutioning support to BD and presales activities

Work in conjunction with Presales / BD teams, program managers, and other stakeholders towards spotting and converting short cycle mining opportunities that may arise from time to time.

Responding to RFP / RFI s

Developing frameworks / data models / POV in data engineering

Substantially increasing leverage of data engineering in every deal

Developing commercial constructs around data engineering

Making key decision makers understand the value of data engineering in every deal

Managing stakeholder expectations during deal solutioning process, both internal and external

Ability to influence key business outcomes around information management

RFP / RFI solution experience is essential

Should have experience on Architecture and Design Principles

Ability to understand data engineering process and apply analytics to improve efficiency and deliver tangible business impact to end client organization

Should be dynamic to understand and recognize where data management and information governance is applicable.

Excellent communication skills, oral as well as written

Excellent presentation skills (PPT)

Strong experience in atleast three of the following :

Cloud Based Data Engineering Services

Data Management and Governance

Hadoop Ecosystem

Data Visualization and Reporting

AI and Machine Learning

Data Integration

MPP and Columnar Databases

Business consulting experience or internal consulting (in case of non-consulting companies) in data engineering

Preferred skills :

Hands on experience in BI / analytics architecting in atleast 2 domains

Good understanding of latest advancements in advanced analytics

Strong client management skills to build trust-based relationships (handling structured and unstructured conversations, ability to understand client s cultural nuances and flexing Genpact content accordingly, manoeuvre between setting realistic client expectations better than competition within internal clients

Ability to work in a matrix reporting relationships and global environment, with strong enough communication skills to influence multiple internal stakeholders

Knowledge of big data technologies like Hadoop / HIVE / / PIG / Spark / Scala etc.

Knowledge of NOSQL Database like AZURE Cosmos DB, Dynamo DB etc.

Any reporting or visualization tool like Tableau / SSRS / Power BI etc.

Excellent problem solving skills

High level of intellectual curiosity about the use of data engineering and Analytics

Consultative selling skills and Story-telling ability

World class Communication and Stakeholder Management

Ability to work in diverse teams and with multiple stakeholders

Experience in Analytics products and solutions.


Minimum qualifications :

B.E. in Computer Science, Information systems, or Computer engineering, Systems Engineering.

Excellent communication skills is a must

Should be skilled in creating presentations and working on PPT.,
