Business Summary :

Partners are becoming increasingly important in driving the deployment and consumption of VMware products and services. VMware are implementing several initiatives to enable our partners to sell VMware professional services to accelerate solutions adoptions and consumption and building closer engagement between partner and VMware services teams.

Job Role and Responsibility :

As part of the VMware World-Wide Professional services (WWPS) Field Sales Services (FSS) team, the Partner Services Sales Analyst will support our WWPS resell partners through the process of selling WWPS service offers.

  • Assist partner services sales teams in picking the right VMware offer based on the customers requirements
  • Draft consulting services proposals and Statement of Work (SOWs) based on scoping document and as per drafting guideline and company policy
  • Support to create pricing estimate for consulting services in pricing tool
  • Draft Project Change Requests as per the policy
  • Facilitate SOW approval process in the CRM tool and follow up with approvers.
  • Work with regional business lead and legal for non-standard terms & conditions on SOW and facilitate approvals.
  • Mandatory Skills :

  • 4-7 years of industry experience in a similar role in Consulting, US based Metrics Organization, IT services or Software Product companies
  • Prior experience in Bid Management, Pre-sales support, Project Coordination
  • Experience working with Field Sales, Technical Delivery and Project Management teams in closing large enterprise sales opportunities
  • Prior experience in drafting Proposals and / or SOWs and Project Commercials
  • Excellent written, oral communication in English language is a must
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Good to Have Skills :

  • Experience working with RFPs, RFIs, Proposal Documents, Services agreements
  • Basic technical understanding of IT Infrastructure services and Cloud technologies
  • Ability to articulate technical concepts to both business and technical audiences
