IBNG (Intent based Networking Group) has charter for ALL Platform Independent and Platform Dependent Solution Software development across Enterprise Routing (SDWAN, Cloud Controllers, Cloud Routers), Wireless (wifi-6, Wireless Controllers, Cloud hosted wireless controllers), Switching (SD-Access) , Optical software and Cable Access.

This includes all the Operating Systems and Network Services for IOS / XE in Enterprise, IOS-XR in Service Provider and NX-OS in Data Center Market Segments.

THE TEAM

Cisco's Enterprise Routing is multi-billion dollar growing business that generates its revenue primarily in the Mid-Range routing market space (Edge and Access Routing).

The Portfolio of this team includes SDWAN, SASE, Branch Security, Application Aware Routing, Centralized Policy, Cloud Controllers, Cloud Networking, COLO, SaaS Gateway, Cloud onramp and other next generation technology for WAN Infra.

Software development methodology is CI / CD and end-to-end Solution automation first, Inquisitive Regression Software Framework.

Cisco's Enterprise Routing has Platforms from Low End branches to High End Data Centers and Cloud Router to Extend Enterprise Network.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

We are looking for a high energy, self-motivated, bold, bright and empathetic Software Development Lead / Manager to join Enterprise Routing Technical Leadership Team.

As part of this team, You will have the responsibility to lead end-to-end Solution Automation framework team who will be working with various SMEs to understand the solution and provide end-to-end Automation Framework Solution.

Solutions will be industry leading SDWAN solution, App Routing, App Visibility, SASE, SaaS Gateway, Application level Services (from L4 to L7 level), vManage Analytics.

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

Enterprise routing team is a group of high energy, passionate on Quality, customer focused engineers who bring diverse perspectives and experiences to bear on the toughest engineering challenges.

Team is responsible to build and constantly enhance end-to-end Solution Automation Framework for next generation SDWAN solutions, which include SASE, SaaS gateway, branch security, COLO, Application QoE, Application Aware Routing.

Responsibility will also be to build solution on multi-cloud (AWS, GSP, Azure etc) environment, Cloud controllers, Application Analytics, REST Infra, follow CI / CD practices.

WHO YOU ARE

Lead end to end solution / SDWAN feature automation, working closely with SMEs and Development team to completely understand the solution / feature.

Design and Develop end-to-end solution automation framework, automate new solutions / features by quickly understanding new features and solutions.

Good understanding and proficiency in developing networking product and embedded system. Good understanding of TCP / IP stack, UDP, applications protocol is plus.

Exposure to SASE, SaaS, Cloud Service, Cloud Networking, Cloud Infra is desired.

Knowledge of Python programming (specifically with Python 3.0), multi-threaded programming, database knowledge, AI / ML exposure

Operate in process driven methodology with an eye toward robust and disciplined software development.

Strong ability and desire to learn new technologies and development tools as required is an absolute must.

Ability to work in a highly-collaborative and fast-paced environment with minimal direct supervision

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR DEV QA LEAD

Should have 10+ years of total experience with 3+ years in Technical Leadership Management in Software Industry

Working experience in Python Programming, Database Programming, AI / ML exposure for features related to IP routing and SDWAN, SDWAN security, SDWAN Application visibility and quality (TCP / IP stack, L7 protocols like http, ssl, smb) is highly desirable

Strong hands-on experience in Python programming, Scripting knowledge, database knowledge, AI / ML exposure.

Solid experience with Linux

Strong problem solving and software development / troubleshooting skills. Ability to "think in code" and discuss ideas is a must.

Knowledge of Public Clouds, VmWare Virtualization, Open Stack, KVM

Excellent Layer 2 and Layer 3 knowledge / hands-on experience.

Good understanding of Networking protocols and Standards like TCP / IP, FTP, DHCP, HTTP, Routing / switching protocols (OSPF, BGP, IS-IS, STP, VLAN) knowledge

Good understanding of DevOps principles, tools and techniques, CI / CD principles

Familiarity with Bitbucket, JIRA, Jenkins, Git

Knowledge on Network data Telemetry and Analytics is an added advantage
