The opportunity
We’re looking for an Assistant Director with expertise in SCM which support key outcomes by developing and executing their transaction strategy to secure deal value.

Your key responsibilities
Overall practice management of GDS SCM team with ownership of business metrics and KPIs
Regular connectivity and reporting to the US TSE SCM team
Manage Oversee engagement teams executing SCM which support key decision makers in developing and executing their transaction strategy to secure deal value
Demonstrate excellent skills in project execution, including synergy assessment, project management, problem-solving, and facilitation
Build relationships with EY offices across the globe, and demonstrate knowledge of regional practices Responsible for high degree of GDS user satisfaction with engagement process and work products
Provide insights / observations based upon the Industry knowledge, statistical, benchmarking and pioneer practices
Engage on larger SaT projects and pitch for potential supply chain interventions.
Ability to analyze evolving market environment and build solutions / services to cater to the same
Develop expertise on all SCM pillars in the team
Data research & visualization
Collate the top practices, develop expertise and mentor the junior members to deliver on high quality output on engagements
Manage and expand the existing set of users and build strong engagement metrics
Support to EY teams in business development

To qualify for the role, you must have
Post Graduate degree in business management with specialization in operations / supply chain
from a premier institute with 12-14 years of applicable industry and / or consulting experience
Understanding of transaction life cycles, carve-out / integration of a business post-announcement of
transaction, cross-border transactions
Ability to contribute client executive discussions with individual perspectives / insights
Have expert knowledge of big data management with focus on visualization and recommendations
Should have experience of leading multiple supply chain transformation engagements in multi country environment and large team size
Should have experience in managing SC Project Management Office (PMO) in transactions along with project experience on all 4 SCM pillars
Have an eye for detail and be able to add industry specific key performance indicators (KPI’s)
High degree of proficiency in business development activities like response to RFPs, market sizing, etc.
Should be able to provide high quality insights on projects
Excellent problem solving, project management, facilitation and interpersonal skills
Strong executive presence
Willingness to undertake international travel as per business requirement
