Position Description :
Responsible for the full administration of all primary server farms. Provide highest level of technical advice on Server Administration and management.
Your future duties and responsibilities :
Work in shifts, predominantly in UK (OR) US (OR ) AU Shifts
SLAs and Process compliance
Resolve incidents, problems and changes escalated by L2, production issues, upgrades and patches, performance analysis, disaster recovery implementation, capacity planning and other activities as necessary
Changes implementations during business / non-business hours & weekends / as and when required
Available on call to resolve major incidents / outages resolutions
Drive bridge calls and client calls during priority / major incidents.
Own and implement preventive actions to reduce outages
Incidents reduction through problem management
Continuous improvement in proactive monitoring
Identify, recommend and automate BAU tasks
Contribute to continuous service improvements
Operational performance reporting
Conduct technical trainings
Mentor junior team members
Be part of reviews with client as and when necessary

Required qualifications to be successful in this role :
Primary Skill : Windows, VMware,
Secondary Skill : Service Delivery
Minimum 5 years of experience in remote infrastructure management
4+ years working experience on Windows 2008; 2012 and 2016
4+ years working experience VMware ESXi 5.5; 6.0; 6.5
Responsible for resolving all technical incidents escalated by the L-2 team
Analyze Change Request; review change requests with the client & stake holders; validate the information and execute - High complexity;
Critical & Emergency Changes
Participate in Problem Management review meetings and provide root cause analysis
Ability to handle and drive Incident Review bridges by identifying potential Problems; recommend solutions to be implemented
Responsible for SLA compliance
Communicate effectively (verbal and written) and clearly within the team and with all the stakeholders.
Good knowledge on ITIL process
Technical Certification a must on latest technologies (Windows / VMware / Cloud)
Flexible to work on 24 / 7 rotational shifts
Certification Required : ITIL / MCP
