We are looking for an SMTS engineer to join our athena Intelligence division. You will be partnering with senior business and product leadership to do great things.
Ultimately your work will focus on improving corporate performance, product performance and clinical outcomes. But enough about us;
let’s talk about you. You are a developer with extensive experience in designing and building unambiguous technical design specifications to the appropriate detail.
Proactively identify and proposes new, alternative technology in order to create scalable implementations and achieve results and perform code reviews in order to ensure quality standards.

Our data store will be the largest and most coveted asset in healthcare as we solidify our position as the healthcare backbone.
Produce accurate, unambiguous technical design specifications to the appropriate detail
Critique technical documentation as needed
Deliver customer value in the form of high-quality software components and services in adherence with policies on Security, performance, longevity and Integration testing
Proactively identify and proposes new, alternative technology in order to create scalable implementations and achieve results
Accurately estimate the size of development tasks in story points; challenge other during estimation
Act as the subject matter expert for area of assignment
Participate on Scrum teams following practices outlined by team
Take ownership of what the team builds after the release; consider customer adoption as success criteria
Contribute to agile ceremonies to improve team performance
Provide high level T-shirt sizing for the work required to build smaller software components and services
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
Data engineer in ETl pipeline, data, expertise
Big data, on prem data warehouse
Experience in one or more modern high-level programming language such as : Python, Perl, Java, or NodeJS
Good Problem-Solving Skills (Data structures and Algorithms)
Experience in Data Engineering, Data Management, building and supporting data warehouses and ETL pipelines at enterprise scale is a must
Strong SQL skills and experience with one or more RDBMS’ such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server is a must
Demonstrable experience with SQL query analysis, profiling, and optimization
Experience with one or more ETL and Business Intelligence platforms such as Informatica, Talend, Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik
Experience with Unix / Linux systems and distributed computing technologies
Experience with Agile practices and all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle
