JobTitle : RFT Wholesale Credit Risk Developer

Grade : AVP

The successful candidate will be a development team member withinthe SW / GCIS2 agile team, participating in all aspects of the developmentprocess, including interaction with Product owner, user story analysis,technical design, implementation, code-

reviews, testing, production deployment,and L3 support.

Your Role

oAgile development using .NET, C# / HTML5, Angular JS / SQLServer.

oDelivering solutions within a DevOps environment with a focus onautomation of testing and deployment via standardised framework.

oWorking closely with global development team members in otherregions, participating in and contributing to technical discussions.

oCommunicate effectively with the local development manager andteam.

oResponding promptly to requests from the RTB support team in orderto resolve user queries and handle technical issues that are out of scope forthe support staff.

oMaking technical updates to reduce the manual support overhead forthe system.

oWorking with BAs and Team Leads to understand the functional scopeof project work, questioning decisions and collaborating with end-

users toensure that business needs are met on a timely basis.

oDrafting initial design proposals for reviews by team leads andarchitects, and contributing to detailed technical specifications whereappropriate.

oLiaising with the Design authority and IT teams in other regionsto ensure that all new components fit within guiding principles.

oFollowing good processes and practices, as defined by the teamstandards; ensuring that documentation is complete, comprehensive and signedoff.

oImplement and test technical solutions from specifications to bothnew and existing systems.

oEnsuring code written meets the predefined company and departmentstandards

oInvolvement in peer reviews with more senior team members in orderto provide constructive feedback

oCreating and maintaining unit tests with an aim for 80% codecoverage

oLiaising with a test team to provide support during SIT, QA andUAT test phases

oDiagnosis and resolution of defects found during SIT, QA and UATtest phases

oSupporting regression testing.

oFollowing established process and practices with regards to sourcecode management and audit controls.

oWriting release plans and coordinating release walkthroughs withthe environment managers and RTB teams

oActing as a point of contact for support team, investigating andresolving issues found in production following minor releases

oProviding on-call support for minor releases

Essential Skills

oSoftwaredevelopment experience using .NET, C# / HTML5, Angular JS / SQL Server.

oAdegree in engineering, computer science or a quantitative discipline e.g.statistics, physics or mathematics preferred.

Desirable Skills

oTotalwork software development experience.

oKnowledge / experienceof Credit Risk / investment banking.

oGeneralunderstanding of the full SDLC lifecycle and Agile methodologies.

oHandson experience with Perforce, ClearCase, Git or other source code control tools.

oWillingnessto broaden skill sets and learn a secondary technology where necessary.

oWillingnessand capacity to learn complex financial concepts relevant to the role.

oAnalyticalskills; ability to investigate and resolve issues in a high-pressuredenvironment.
