As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for :

  • Maximizing value of the product and the work of the Scrum Team. Acts as the single voice for priority and acceptance of what to work on for delivery of assigned product features and provides a clear statement of vision, direction, and release purpose and goals.
  • Responsible and accountable for managing the Product Backlog in collaboration with Product Manager.
  • Lead the Solutioning process in the Product
  • Valuating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
  • The role requires a high level of business intelligence and sometime technical skills to investigate and analyze business activities to make them more efficient by using IT resources.
  • Essential tasks involve identifying areas within a business which need updating or improving, often working in tandem with the development team.
  • An understanding of customers’ needs in relation to the performance of the business and the provision of competitive commercial solutions.
  • Implement advanced strategies for gathering, reviewing and analyzing data requirements
  • Prioritize requirements and if required able to create conceptual prototypes and mock-ups based on business needs and requirements.
  • Master traceability and quality management techniques
  • Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
  • Providing leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to teams.
  • Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
  • Performing user acceptance testing.
  • Prioritizing initiatives Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of User Stories.
  • Work closely with the Business and Technical teams on various problems, issues and enhancements to support the understanding and successful implementation of the business requirements.
  • Support finding solutions to functional problems / defects and prepare high level functional designs
  • Apply best practices for effective communication and problem-solving
  • Working with Scrum Teams, Other BA’s, testers and Area Product Owners Globally.
  • We expect you to have :

    Strong communications skills are a crucial requirement, as technical solutions often need non-tech-based inter-departmental explanations, especially when dealing with support teams.

  • 13+ years of experience as a Business Analyst / Product Owner
  • Strong Payments Knowledge (Corporate Payments)
  • Cash Management Knowledge will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of relevant collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence)
  • In depth knowledge of product development methodologies (e.g. Design Thinking, Kano Model) will be a strong advantage
  • Excellent Written and verbal communication, including technical writing skills
  • Understanding of systems engineering concepts
  • Business case development
  • Modeling techniques and methods
  • Very good problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
