What you will learn and contribute to
5G RAN System Validation & Support Specialist is responsible for new product and SW introductions, first official applications (FOA) as well as other piloting activities in customer networks.
He / She will also provide technical expertise during initial pre C5 introductions & post C5 roll-out for NOKIA 5G customers in Europe, India and APAC markets
5G RAN Acceptance test expert is responsible for customer specific testing activities
Preparation of 5G RAN Acceptance Test Manual and execution of Acceptance test cases
Building and maintenance of NOKIA CIS 5G RAN E2E lab setup for NPI or roll-out support activities
Solving customer problems and queries coming during initial system introduction or initial roll-out phase
Provides onsite / remote support for troubleshooting task forces on need basis during initial system introduction or initial roll-out phase.
He / She has the responsibility for specifying, planning, reporting, designing, reviewing in his / her technical area (e.
g. several features / technologies).
Leads and executes technical activities and projects in own responsibility area.May work also outside of own process area on technical issues.
Solves complex engineering problems in many technology area
Coaches other team members in solving complex engineering problems. Undertakes technical training responsibilities
Preventive tools & services offering
Participates in health checks, network optimization and preventive maintenance activities.
Participates in enabling services organization to handle post C5 activities efficiently
Your skills and experience
Overall 8+ Years of Experience
BE / BTech in Computer Science or Electronics from a premier institute
Good knowledge of 5G & LTE cellular technologies
Good understanding of 5G NR & LTE Specifications, End-to-End Procedures
Experience with product testing, development of Test Plan and Test Cases
Working knowledge of QXDM / X-CAL / X-CAP / Wireshark
Good Knowledge of ETSI - NFV Specifications
Good knowledge of NOKIA 5G & LTE RAN products.
Good understanding of virtualization, cloud architectures and e2e QoS Concepts
Customer focused, well networking especially with R&D experts, Customer Support Managers and Customer Teams.
Understanding of SW and HW architecture and troubleshooting principles.
Good troubleshooting skills
Should have the flair for learning and working in new areas / technologies.
Self driven, Result Oriented, Good Communication skills and a Good team player.
Few years experience in Radio Access product integration, verification, system testing or technical support.
Ready for international travel to support customers on short notice.
Capability to lead in own technical area.
SW coding / scripting skills additional benefit.
