Job Description

The Application Developer and Application Support produces the BW service / process design artifacts, develops and unit tests the code, supports QA, Production environment and Performance testing efforts, executes / supports the Change and Release processes, and provides production operational support.

Must have 4 - 6 years of end to end, hands on design, development and implementation experience with enterprise application integration solutions using TIBCO BusinessWorks 5.

x, Administrator, HAWK, UNIX, Linux, Oracle 11g, GitHub, Jenkins and EMS to be able to support of TIBCO BW applications.

Must have experience in Java or any other programming language like Python and Java Script

Good to have a knowledge on shell scripting, Ansible and Groovy.

There will shifts varying between Second shift (1 : 00 p.m. to 9 : 30 p.m.) to regular shifts (11 : 30 a.m. to 8 : 00 p.

m.) & (08 : 00 a.m. to 4 : 30 p.m) There is an on-call rotation schedule that the ASPL would be a part of.

Sometimes if required will have work on weekends during deployments.

Good to have USA B1 Visa.

Job Responsibilities

  • Participate in activities such as Application development, enhancements, and documentation.
  • Participate in activities such as production monitoring, break fix resolution including ECC calls, problem solving, gap analysis and configuration resolutions.
  • Communication of delays, warranty turnover, meetings with development, vendor support and documentation, monitor jobs, emails, alerts and create reports based on activities.
  • Identify automation opportunities, reduce complexity, document support activities, and partner with development team on project and enhancement work.
  • Notify, escalate and support failure, manage incident and problem tickets.
  • Support production implementations and post-change validations.
  • Monitor jobs, emails, alerts and create reports based on activities.
  • Support of existing production applications including monitoring and break fix resolution
  • Transition of project deliverables to production support
  • Modification of existing applications to resolve production issues
  • Root cause analysis and preventative steps for repeated issues
  • Resolve / develop tactical solutions for reported problems
  • Develop permanent fixes for reported problems
  • Perform unit testing on break fix activity
  • Support for migration to production environment
  • Willingness to work outside of normal business hours in order to meet scheduled and unscheduled implementations, maintenance and break / fix resolution including ECC rapid response calls.
  • Excellent English oral and written communication skills.
  • 4 - 6 years of Tibco and Java development experience.
  • Should have the knowledge on Jenkins tool and GitHub is add on
