Primary Responsibilities :
Drive Continuous testing for DevOpS enablement of product and build all required testing / automation needs of the product
Understand domain and create test cases, test suites with continuous testing methodology to execute Functional testing, regression testing, performance testing,
Quality assurance thru automation for ongoing / existing product development
Help in building quality gates in the code pipelines to enable DevOps practices
Lead QA engineers to foster the Quality thru Automation mindset. Review test cases specifications and design documents
Understand and help with the new product and existing product design / architecture to enable world class MFT product

Required Qualifications :
10+ years of overall experience with strong testing skills. Ability to develop test strategy, design test plan, and test cases effectively and independently
QA background with experience / responsible for full life-cycle testing activities (manual and automated) of applications based on defined requirements in identifying and writing / reviewing test plans, test cases and testing results.
Perform thorough System, Integration, Regression, load, performance and End to End testing
Experience in Java 8 / J2EE, Strong in Java Concurrency, IO and Collection, database query, HTTP & REST API design / SOAP Web Services
Experience in different automation tools selenium, Protractor, Jmeter, etc.
Good understanding of development processes and tools Sonar, Jenkins, Git, CI / CD
Expertise with JUnit, TestNG, or any other test framework. JUnit test cases and knowledge on DevOps toolchain, Continuous Testing / Automation
Ability to Influence the team with lead by example and provide required coaching / mentoring
Preferred Qualifications :
Bachelor's / Advanced degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience
Experience in any observability frameworks such as Splunk / Graffana / Kibana etc.
Experience in event streaming / message queuing with proficiency in RabbitMQ / ActiveMQ / Kafka etc.
Experience in working any NoSQL databases such as MongoDB / Cassandra / Aerospike etc.
Experience in container orchestration and proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes
Understanding of fundamental software engineering and computer science principles : object-oriented design, structured design, databases, algorithms, data structures, usability, debugging, and configuration management
Strong technical and platform knowledge, including some or all of : Java, J2EE, Open source related technologies Perl / Any Scripting language, MySQL
Understanding of Data Model and create Complex SQL queries to Identify and creating test data
Knowledge in different SDLC models and should have worked in Agile methodology
Managed File Transfer (MFT) domain knowledge
Team Management experience for medium sized teams
