This is a critical C12 role in the Markets Operations Technology organization for the middle office metrics and SimCom technology strategy portfolio of applications.

The candidate is expected to lead and manage the overall budgets and forecasts for the global portfolio of applications within the portfolio.

The role would involve managing budgets, forecasting, vendor management, variance analysis between spends and forecast, license management and overall SDLC collateral management for projects within the PTS-W.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all facets of daily operations, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures including : BOW financial forecasting, headcount planning, and centralized policy / reporting.
  • Work closely with financial control, resource management and other key support areas to maximize efficiency.
  • Work closely with global stakeholders within technology and business office to align and manage budgets and forecast for the portfolio.
  • Be a team player contributing towards business deliveries building true ownership and accountability of the modules / components over time
  • Act as the global finance / budget lead for the portfolio and be the face for the team with the global business office group
  • Manages the project / program best practices. Runs audits and take measures to keep the project / program green
  • Drive automation of routine reporting and snapshot activities within the budgeting and forecasting work space.
  • Institute best practices for developing software leading to the team being more productive in delivery quality solutions for the business.
  • Qualifications

    Required Skills :

  • Candidate should have 9+ years of overall experience that includes 3+ years in the financial services industry (preferably in investment banks).
  • Ideal candidate would be a self-contained individual contributor with a go getter attitude

  • Have prior experience managing budgets for a $10m+ portfolio across both CTB and RTB domains
  • The candidate would have prior working experience in a competitive, high paced environment to deliver software to meet business needs working within a matrix environment
  • Excellent working understanding with Agile, Iterative models of SDLC, budgets management, forecasting, vendor management, stakeholder reporting, variance analysis etc.
  • Strong collaboration skills across cross functional teams; excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of SDLC methodologies; Display sound analytical, problem solving, presentation and inter-personal skills to handle various critical situations.
  • Ability to carry out adaptive changes necessitated by changes in business requirements and technology.
