The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work which demonstrates their passion for illustrative design and typography.
This candidate will have experiences in working with numerous different design platforms such as digital and print forms.
Responsibilities and Duties
Meet with clients or the creative director to determine the scope of a project
Conceive appropriate imagery for the content, finding images, editing and touching up images.
Use a digital illustration, photo editing software, and layout software to create compelling and effective designs for print and digital media
Create compelling and effective visual elements such as logos, original images, and illustrations that help deliver the desired message
Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts.
Present design concepts to clients or creative director
Incorporate changes recommended by clients or creative director into final designs
Work with graphics, motion graphics, and video editing when necessary
Maintain awareness of the current industry, emerging design trends and software tools, social media, competitive landscape and market trends.
Expected skills :
Advance knowledge of communication designs
Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Corel
Knowledge of After Effects and Premiere Pro is a brownie point
Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills and design skills
Must be efficient in delivering publishing work
Expertise in developing infographics, layouts for product illustrations, graphs
Ability to understand the brief and come up with visually appealing designs
Ability to think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts
1-2 years of work experience in graphic design
On having graduation from a field other than designing, having certification of reputed and renowned designing courses is compulsory.
Portfolio of work with demonstrable graphic design skills.
