Nokia's ION Division is recruiting highly motivated Software Developers& Test Engineers. Our Team is developing exciting new products that allowsour customers to build and manage their networks.
Our products are built usingvarious technologies, including :
Web application frameworks (REACT)
Microservices (Kubernetes, Helm)
You will work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment developingapplications that are best in-class network orchestration solutions.
You willbe exposed to the latest technologies in telecom specifically around Virtualizationand SDN. The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include :
Designing features and enhancements for our network orchestrationplatform, started from ground up.
Developing solutions to achieve Customer high-availability networkrequirements, while reaching defined scaled and performance targets.
Collaborating with Nokia developers to jointly define networkmanagement interfaces.
Working in a team-based Agile Environment; collaborate with Testersand Product Management to refine requirements, develop, and test our Carriergrade solutions.
Interacting with Support Teams to provide software solutions tofield-reported issues.
Keenly following and participating in standardization activities inthis space.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or relatedfield.
Programming experience in Golang, Java, Python or any modern programminglanguage
Knowledge / experience in databases such as Mongo, Redis
Knowledge of network management concepts and basic protocols (e.g.GNMI).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required, bothwritten and verbal
Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and to work in a fast paced,innovative environment ADDITIONAL ASSETS
Experience with microservices architecture
Knowledge / experience with Kubernetes
Knowledge in IP networking, familiar with networking concepts androuting protocols (ie BGP, IP, VPN, VLAN)
Prior and demonstrated experience in a Software Development role
Familiar with UNIX or Linux
