About the Role :
We are looking for a dynamic Research Consultant who participates in all stages of the research value chain- from formulating research design to presenting insightful reports.
The professional will need to scope, frame hypotheses, find relevant information, analyse quantitative and qualitative data to bring forth original insights and demonstrate strong writing and presentation skills.
Liaise with colleagues and stakeholders (in pre-sales, sales, consulting) located globally to understand, refine, and manage research priorities.
Take the relationships beyond transactional level.
In-depth qualitative and quantitative analysis by connecting disparate pieces of information, identifying patterns, relate business problems to strategic offerings to form a logical structure to present a compelling story.
Present key findings with strong skills in impactful business writing, appropriate visualization and storyboarding to audience including VPs, Practice Partners and Consultants
Ensure quality and timelines in research projects involving teams, or independently.
Generate creative ideas and solutions for research, thought leadership articles, model / framework creation.
Participate extensively in team level operational and brainstorming activities.
Tracking Business & Technology trends and collecting market information related to both. The candidate should also continuously contribute to the development of competencies of the team and self
M.B.A. or equivalent with 6 to 8 years of relevant experience Good knowledge of databases, public sources of information, and / or industry specific sources and ability to find credible information
Intellectual curiosity, critical thinking and resourcefulness by taking ownership of research deliverables are expected.
Analytical skills to provide actionable insights to internal stakeholders
Ability to generate extrapolative and forward-looking insights
Experience in processing information in compelling visualization within logical structure is preferred skill
Knowledge of one-or-more sectors preferably BFSI, Healthcare, Telecom, Retail or the digital space.
Prior experience in pre-sales or research preferred. Adept in report writing for senior management with good business writing skills.
External publications is an added advantage
Articulate ideas, logical thinking and point of views in a compelling and succinct manner.
Ability to collaborate / communicate effectively and efficiently across teams, including virtual teams.
Advanced knowledge of MS Office - MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Word. Knowledge of analytics tools will be an advantage
