The QuickBooks Online (QBO) Advanced team has developed a new cloud-based offering designed for high growth businesses. QuickBooks Online Advanced leverages the vast data and information within the QuickBooks ecosystem, applying artificial intelligence and machine learning to serve up insights and patterns that help growing companies better run their business.

QuickBooks Online Advanced provides an advantage for these growing and more complex businesses at an attractive price point, filling a gap not yet met in the market.

Built on an open platform, businesses have access to hundreds of third party applications, such as online bill pay and inventory management, that can easily be added and custom fit to meet their needs.

QuickBooks disrupts and innovates by delivering a flexible solution that is tailor-made for businesses at this stage of growth, versus rigid mid-market software that over-serve with the wrong functionality.

In addition, QuickBooks Online Advanced includes Intuit’s premium service program, QuickBooks Priority Circle®. This personalized service provides a dedicated Customer Success Manager, a single and consistent point of contact ready to assist small businesses with their technical and product questions.

QuickBooks is already providing features to delight growing small businesses with the successful launch of project tracking and billing, progress invoicing, and custom price list support for small businesses channels.

The new QuickBooks Online Advanced product boasts all the features of Intuit’s most popular small business software solution, QuickBooks Online Plus, as well as enhanced services to make it the perfect fit for up-market customers.

The middle market is a critical sector of the American economy and an important engine of job creation. These companies, mostly privately held, represent annual revenues that are approximately one-third of the annual US private sector gross receipts and account for the majority of new US jobs since 2008.

Middle market firms are the bread and butter of the US economy, as they create jobs and are the fastest growing segment of any industry in terms of revenue.

We want to expand the products and services that we provide to these customers as an extension of our core offerings to help them grow their businesses.

What you'll bring

  • 5+ years designing and delivering world-class products in a Product Management role
  • Deep customer empathy and curiosity

  • Track record of prioritizing, communicating and influencing teams
  • Strong analytical skills paired with a data-informed mindset
  • Great track record of partnering with engineering and design teams to define, build, and maintain products which are critical to growth, engagement, and retention
  • Ability to build relationships / credibility through knowledge and results; well honed influencing and negotiating skills;
  • ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences

  • Can do' attitude with an entrepreneurial mindset and comfort working in a fast paced, unstructured environment
  • Passion for data and AI / ML is a must
  • Experience owning or working closely with AI / ML products (consumer products or internal tools / platforms) is a big bonus
  • Current knowledge of industry leading AI / ML products, platforms, and related technologies is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree and background in Computer Science preferred.
  • How you will lead

    We are seeking an outstanding product manager who will transform the Reporting platform for Quickbooks Online with a focus on mid-market users.

    You will be deeply customer obsessed and passionate about creating magically simple solutions to enable mid market companies to use Reporting with unprecedented scale and flexibility on their data. You will :

  • Build and own both the high level roadmap and detailed delivery plans for the Reporting platform.
  • Interact with customers across all business units and functional groups both internal and external to understand pain points and collect requirements
  • Use a data / metrics driven product development approach; define success criteria for roadmap items and demonstrate measurable impact on those success metrics
  • Manage prioritization of new functionality.
  • Hypothesize, measure and learn : Break insights and opinions into hypotheses, dream up the right test(s), measure with scientific discipline and iterate based on customer feedback
  • Evangelize products throughout the company and across varying levels of organization
  • Manage product relationships with architects, managers, individual contributors, and executives
  • Communicate frequently and clearly with other teams and leaders
  • Ruthlessly prioritize initiatives and work across teams to drive work in other areas that deliver value for your target customer
  • Establish strong cross functional relationships, Influence key organization stakeholders and lead change
