RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

JOB SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The GSAM Digital Centre of Excellence (COE) team will play a key role in driving data architecture strategy and data quality governance.

The team will be responsible for data maintenance on the web (gsam.com) & static client reference and preference data governace on upstream systems for institutional clients & fund investors globally.

In the process of governing data throughout the data lifecycle, the team would also be responsible to identify Business Intelligence / Low code solutions to drive change and automate these workflows in the long-term.

The role will require an individual to join a team that provides support to global functions within GSAM and work closely with Business & technology to design solutions to automate data attribute flows between various systems and keep data current.

The team is responsible for the following functions :

  • Web maintenance for GSAM.com including disclosures, translations, content update etc.
  • Data remediation as needed in upstream systems
  • Liasoning with upstream teams for ensuring data accuracy
  • Build control mechanism for data cleansing and exception management
  • Resolve issues and identify and implement Business Intelligence solutions related to client reference data by partnering with Business, Technology and other Operations groups
  • Access provisioning to GSAM.com
  • Define data attributes, owners, lineage and transformation through Data Dictionary
  • Document current and future state workflow through process mapping and decision modelling for all data remediation
  • Optimize client service through process rationalization
  • Enhance the firm’s risk framework by analysing existing controls, evaluating their suitability, and recommending new standards
  • The candidate will be expected to gain thorough knowledge of the function and relevant risk management systems within first 12 months.

  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree from tier-1 or 2 institutes with exposure in Finance or Business Intelligence.
  • Relevant work experience of 1-2 years
  • Experience in operating model design, business analysis, business process mapping and / or business process re-engineering
