Reports to : Head of Sales GBU, Area Position purpose : Commercially competent field based technical support manager will help Account Manager to achieve the year’s budget (or may have his own territory) of native as well as differentiates starches while building a pipeline of new opportunities of mainly new products and applications (sales funnel) in confectionery, savoury, beverages and other foods, works in close partnership with customer technical services to achieve the objectives.
Position scope : pan or part of India based out of Gurgaon.Key competencies requirementMust have worked in confectionery, savoury, beverage or other food segment in production or business development in food ingradients.
Exposure to confectionery is desirable. Must be well versed with usage of different processes in food processing industry.
Customer focus provide appropriate solutions in these segments.Must have good industry contacts and relations.New business development focus, team playerand quick learner.
Positions reporting to this position : Nil. Key Job Responsibility Point of contact for customer for technical support to customers.
Build up solutions for the customers to extract maximum value out of Roquette products.Create pipeline of opportunities mainly for new products and applications.
Ensure that all business opportunities are entered in pivotal and are regularly updated.Work in close coordination with customer technical services, production and quality in India and Europe for developing these solutions.
Work closely with Account Managers / Sales Managers to ensure that the opportunities are taken to logical end and continue to support customer thereafter.
Help Sales Head in developing marketing material for promotion of existing and new products.Training of Account Managers on new products and applications.
Required profile : Academic background
University degree in food technology premier institute.
2-3 years experience in food processing industry preferbly confectionery in MNC or reputed Indiancompany in foods or foodingradients.
Exposure to confectionery industry or similar role in starch industry is desirable.
