TheLead Network Architect position within the Connectivity team is a key role inthe development, delivery implementation and support of data networksolutions over the global Honeywell network infrastructure.
5-7 years of practical, hands-on experience performing operational, implementation, or engineering functions for on premise and cloud-based DNS and DHCP environments, ideally in a large, complex enterprise IP network, with an enterprise grade DNS / DHCP / IPAM products
Knowledge on IPV6, Scripting and Database administration
The individual must demonstrate a broad understanding of internetworking technology principles that includes proficiency in UNIX, DNS / DHCP, and BIND protocol
Participate in technology integration efforts with other engineering and support teams
must be able to create network plans, ensure technology interoperability, document existing and proposed network infrastructure, maintain relationships with technical solution providers, and provide last tier troubleshooting / support
understanding of PAAS, IAAS, SAAS on Azure, AWS, Google
High level understanding of multi-tiered application traffic flow, DNS global load balancing, routing, switching, IP subnetting, wireshark trace interpretation
Drive the transformation of legacy services to contemporary solutions using software defined networks, virtualization, automation, orchestration, segmentation and edge intelligence
Develop compelling business cases around problems, risks, benefits and business outcomes with the financial justification required to execute
Develop network solutions that meet or exceed cyber security, compliance and regulatory requirements of the business and our customers
Develop solutions that are highly available and cost efficient
Drive network optimization and automation opportunities, help operations teams with rollout and upgrade plans
Provide expert advice during all important Go-Live’ activities of new deployments.
Participate in large scale, multi-functional projects, including product development, merger and acquisition and divestiture activities, with an open and creative mindset focused on delivering business outcomes
Act as a trusted advisor with businesses, internal teams, supplier partners, end-users, and solution providers to ensure processes and tools are in place
7 years of experience in DDI tools (Infoblox, IPcontrol, QIP as primarily and any other tools)
Exp in DNS, DHCP, Global Load Balancing, Wireless, Load Sharing, VLANs, Segmentation, ACI, Application and Traffic Engineering.
2-3 years of Network Infrastructure experience, Specialized in Campus / Local Area network including wireless technology platforms.
Experience developing technology roadmaps, blue prints and tactical to strategic execution plans
Experience operating large, complex, business critical and revenue impacting local area networks
Hands on experience and advanced knowledge with 50%+of the Functional Virtualization, DNS, DHCP, Global Load Balancing, Wireless, Load Sharing, VLANs, Segmentation, ACI, Application and Traffic Engineering, ITIL, Incident and Problem Management
Experience with ServiceNow or another similar formal Service Management platform and / or methodology
Creation of resulted-oriented Management Operating System

Creative and collaborative problem-solving capability
Conveys specific, observable, and / or measurable expectations for each assignment, and verifies understanding and agreement on deliverables and timeframes

programming, scripting, developing code on Unix using API's, python or equivalent is a plus
Advanced Troubleshooting and problem resolution skills in working with complex network environment; ITIL and Six Sigma certification
CCNA, CCNP, CISSP Certification
