Job summary

Amazon’s Core Transport Tech (CTT) team is responsible for key technology that enables planning, orchestration, and execution of transportation service to deliver billions of packages to Amazon.

com customer globally. Our goal is to ensure the best delivery experience for customers across all geographies through a highly scalable, adaptive, and autonomous transportation network.

We are looking for a product leader to be a part of our multi-year effort to build products and services that will allow Amazon to rapidly partner with transportation providers to increase global network coverage across all modes of transportation.

They will own critical Amazon services that seamlessly connect our carrier and seller networks, and enable collaboration and execution efficiency.

These services allow Amazon to provide our customers with fast, flexible, and reliable delivery options anywhere in the world.

The ideal candidate will have successfully built 0-to-1 products in the logistics and transportation space. You are able to synthesize a variety of technologies and capabilities, and translate them into products that solve specific pain-points.

You are analytical and data driven, and are laser focused on measuring and improving the success of products you own. You will own the business model, P&L, feature development, product roadmap, customer segmentation and pricing, and demand generation.

You will drive product development across multiple cross-functional teams.

Key job responsibilities

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree, or appropriate work experience on Transportation & Logistics Tech products

3+ years post-MBA, or 8+ years work experience performing relevant product management job functions

Experience relying on analytics and data to cultivate deep customer empathy, shape product decisions and track effectiveness of change

Experience working with a cross-functional team across design, operations, and engineering team to meet high-reaching goals

Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Ability to think strategically and execute methodically

Analytical and quantitative skills, ability to use hard data and to back up assumptions and develop business cases

Ability to clearly communicate these data insights to others

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

MBA in Supply Chain Management

5+ years of experience working with Logisitics Service Providers and Carriers

2+ years of experience B2B Integration Tech (EDI, API, AS2, Gateways, Security, etc.)

Proven ability and experience leading 0 to 1 products

High attention, ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.

General Manager / owner mentality, willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary

Ability to dive deep in understanding the product, our business, and the competitive landscape
