Principal Accountabilities :
Create and develop effective programs that will result in new product offerings or cost saving programs to meet specific needs of the customer.
Acts as a technical leader for specific supplier products.
Analyze technical data and determine appropriate information to provide to customers so it exceeds their needs and results in additional sales opportunities and design wins
Develop relationships with key Engineering personnel internal and external - in order to provide a partnership approach with customers whenever possible.
Attend technical and sales training in efforts to stay abreast of current technology.
Develop product performance specifications and product development roadmaps
Has limited discretion to vary from established procedures
Works under general supervision
Beginning to solve some straightforward problems
Has limited work experience involving basic concepts and procedures but requires formal training in theories / concepts in own function
Experience / Education
Typically requires a 4 year degree and 3 5 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
