Worldpay’s eComm Engineering branch specialises in delivering online payment services to our customers and are looking for Engineers to join our team and take our systems to the next level.

Operating within a collaborative SAFe environment, we strive to deliver effective solutions for our customers using our evolving payment platform.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Create, implement, maintain, and enhance test plans and test methodologies that ensure exhaustive validation for all assigned product requirements.
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities with attention to quality, details and results.
  • Review requirements, manage resource planning, identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Plan, organize, and monitor the execution of the work assignments for the team.
  • Closely work with offshore stakeholders and set appropriate work priorities for the team.
  • Accountable for test management (functional and non-functional), scheduling, execution and control including resource plan
  • Provide direction and leadership on all testing matters within the global delivery organization
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Organise and lead initiatives to improve test processes, extend the use of tools / framework (where appropriate) and develop team members to improve efficiency
  • Assists in the development of project timelines / estimates and planning for resource allocation based on project requirement working closely with onshore and offshore leads.
  • Gather and present testing metrics and testing activities for the projects to key stakeholders
  • Looking for continuous improvement opportunities e.g. automation

  • Orientation about various automation framework like Selenium, Cucumber, Karate etc.
  • Ability to conduct Gap analysis and Resolution for Test Coverage and Test efficiency based on feedback.
  • Good Understanding of test automation and test automation frameworks (Selenium) including Test driven development and behaviour driven development
  • Ability to work with in a rapidly changing environment - where goals and objectives often change at short notice.
  • Having the confidence to determine your own objectives that fit within the wider team goals, rather than rely on being instructed all the time.
  • Having a positive, can do, persistent attitude, even when the cards are stacked against you.
  • Excellent communicator, comfortable working within geographically distributed team.
  • Strong documentation and governance skills able to work with teams to ensure the right deliverables are created, communicated and managed as part of a Testing lifecycle
  • Essential

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in tools like MS Excel, Rally, Quality central, TestRail etc
  • Agile methodology and behavioural driven development (BDD) process
  • Provide coaching and guidance to the team on best practices.
  • Ensure that the project schedule is adhered to and the work is completed according to the schedule.
  • Ability to maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships
  • Empower and leads a team through the project lifecycle sets team members objectives and carries out regular 1 : 1’s and appraisals alongside Worldpay’s performance Management Framework and support capability development
  • Positive attitude and able to manage team effectively
