Job Requirements

  • 4-8 years of experience as a developer / programmer in the financial domain
  • Expertise on C#.NET and MS SQL
  • Ability to write complex stored procedures and perform SQL performance tuning
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working with high volume enterprise applications
  • Experience developing low latency and high performance applications
  • Experience working with Python will be an added advantage
  • Knowledge of market data, exchange trading, investment banking or risk / compliance domain will be an advantage
  • Experience working in an Agile Scrum model
  • Ability to work independently with high level requirements to come up with the design, code and unit testing of required components
  • Proven ability to think outside the box and come up with innovative solutions
  • Exposure to performance tuning in SQL will be an added advantage
  • Willingness to work across all areas of product life cycle, from requirements gathering to unit testing and application deployment
  • Job description

  • Work as a developer on an agile scrum team across multiple Protegent products, developing new features and components for the products
  • Work as a developer on Protegent’s Market Data module, working to develop new features, modules, bug fixes, process enhancements, performance enhancements, data analysis, etc.
  • Work closely with product owner / business analyst to implement all new features
  • Take ownership of all defects and provide quick resolution
