We are looking for skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our NSG engineering team. Primary responsibility will be to contribute to Sophos Paloma team.
What you will do :
Conceptualise, architect, build engineering and automated CI / CD pipelines
Conceptualise, architect and build a containerised infrastructure using Docker, Mesosphere or similar SaaS platforms
Define & drive development that continuously improve the performance, scalability & resiliency of the CI / CD pipelines.
What you will bring :
Minimum of 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience in software development and DevOps, specifically working with AWS and / or Azure
Strong working experience of any one or more programming languages among : Python, Go, Shell, Perl / Linux Scripting, and / or Java
Experience working with CI / CD tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, Bamboo, Ansible, SonarQube and building test automation into CI / CD pipelines
Good knowledge in firewalls and networking domain.
Familiarity with Docker image building and Dockerfiles
Knowledge of container orchestration frameworks (e.g. Kubernetes)
Motivated self-starter with a high capacity for rapid learning and meticulous attention to details
Cloud native technology stacks like Fluentd, Statsd, OPA, Etcd, Consul, pub / sub, autoscaling etc.
Experience with hardware appliance and software (virtual image) strongly desirable
Security domain / security testing knowledge a plus
Experience working in an Agile Development environment
Strong leadership, judgement, and decision-making skills
