Job Purpose :
As a Lead Test Engineer you should able to devise test strategy, review test plan, traceability matrix and ensure usage of tools for optimization.
You should be able to ensure the availability test environment, design test and defect reporting formats and manage the team.
You should update project related data as required in applicable systems and ensure timely reporting and response to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities :
Execute tests, track and monitor defects / Stories to closure and produce test metrics and test reports
Proactively identifying potential delivery related issues and arriving at mitigation plan.
Task Allocation and Monitoring, Co-ordinate and Manage Test Schedules
Participate in project meetings to provide feedback and statistics of the project in relation to the test quality
Conduct reviews and inspections of project and test deliverables and provide feedback
Implement creative and innovative ways of testing to meet project goals without compromising quality
Participates in refining testing practices and methodologies
Prepare and Assist in performing test estimation, test strategy and Test Plan
Coordinate, Prepare Test Bed, Test Data for execution
Responsible for ownership of Test Automation Strategy, preferably using TOSCA tool.
Confirm connectivity and readiness of test team
Assist Scrum Leads in managing day-to-day testing activities, such as test monitoring and status reporting at the end of the testing day
Reverse engineer requirements and develop models as needed to support test automation
Ensure reusability and capture of Metrics Prepare project level required metrics and reports
Specializes in at least one testing area like functional or performance
Support SIT, UAT and Penny Test
Ensure constructive working relationships within team and with other functional groups
Ability to coordinate between BAs, Business and test team
Ensure compliance to laid down organization wide process and operations guidelines
Knowledge / Experience :
8+ year minimum of overall experience in manual and automation testing projects
Knowledge of TOSCA is mandatory. Knowledge of any other automation tool would be added advantage.
Good understanding of TDD and BDD concepts.
Strong exposure to testing terminologies and processes.
Experience as Test Lead or Test Manager
Understanding of test management tools, JIRA, ALM and Confluence
Prior experience with Cash Management products specifically Payments and preferably Virtual Account Management
Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation of complex information and data).
A strong commitment to quality and efficiency
Excellent multitasking ability - Must have ability to track multiple issues, effectively manage time and competing priorities, and to drive results through partner organizations.
Bachelor’s degree (in science, computers, information technology or engineering)
