Job Description
Candidate should play a key role in leading and owning the Tableau Dashboard development activities and work with team to integrate data from multiple sources.
Candidate will be driving discussions with multiple Key stakeholders to draft the business requirements and develop data pipelines and dashboards using Python and Tableau respectively.
The candidate must be a self-driven, highly motivated individual who is capable of handling multiple work threads. The Candidate should be able to deal with ambiguity and be flexible enough to shift workload in accordance with changing priorities.
Requires minimum 7 11 years’ experience in data analytics and creating data pipelines.
Has experience with business analytics to understand why, what, and how to report the data
Experience in Tableau and Python is a must.
Hands-on experience in framing up medium to complex SQL Queries.
Hands-on experience in preparing / integrating the datasets to match to the reporting requirements.
Hands-on knowledge in developing dashboards following AGILE process
Expertise in SQL, Data Warehousing & Business Intelligence concepts
Strong analytical, project & change management skills
Experienced in version control software (git, svn, mercurial etc.)
Experience with Data Pipelines / Apache Airflow is good to have.
Bachelor’s degree required; concentration in IT, CS is preferred
The successful candidate will specifically :
Work with stakeholders to gather the requirements, develop dashboard prototypes bringing in own design and solutioning experience.
Develop highly intuitive and analytical dashboards which can tell the story of the different stages of the Data management process.
Create and maintain user acceptance test cases and Data Validation test scripts
Develop Python code or other latest technical solutions and other best practices to automate the manual process / steps involved in developing the data layer / analytical layer for the Dashboards to execute out of.
Assist in defining and documenting new processes compliant to firmwide reporting and analytics standards.
Is expected to take ownership and lead the Reporting and Analytics team, eventually , supporting the deliverables of the team and working with leadership in terms of showcasing the solutions and driving reporting and analytics conversations .
Understands the SDLC (Code control, Deployment process) and quality assurance / quality control concepts, metrics, methodologies, and documentation standards.
