SCOPE AND IMPACT OF POSITION ON THE ORGANIZATION :
The Developer must be able to communicate well with internal clients who have varying technical abilities, as well as with WABCO staff.
Quality is the key factor - as is an ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into a technical reality that is extendable and maintainable.
The Developer is expected to work as part of the existing team to support the current system setup in terms of handling user reported issues, service fulfilment and enhancement requirements
Proven ability to independently perform development, testing, implementation, and documentation related to the SalesForce.com software
Manage Salesforce.com CRM application. Responsible for maintaining the functional areas of data management, contacts, opportunities, reports etc.
Implement new enhancements including creation of custom objects, workflows, etc.
Maintain multiple user roles, security, profiles, workflow rules, etc.
Perform effective communication of technical issues and resolve problems at all levels of the system architecture
Identify SFDC usage problems and craft technical / communication plans to IT / business teams
Must be comfortable in rapidly changing and sometimes ambiguous work situations. Keen attention to detail and complex problem solving abilities from operational and technical perspective.
Ability to work independently and engage supervisor as needed
Ability to handle full workload and meet proposed deadlines
Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or master's degree in science discipline, both preferably in computer science and 12+ years of professional experience
Experience developing and delivering solutions to real customer problems, preferably with an emphasis on Sales / Service / Marketing issues
6+ years demonstrated experience in Force.com development, with a strong focus on apex coding, application customisation, reporting tools, data import / export tools & API integration, Web service / call out integrations, HTML, Java script, Visual force coding
Solid knowledge of SOQL & strong relational database background / understanding
Salesforce certified developer a plus
Experience with Agile development practices is an added advantage
Experience in integrations with SOAP / REST API
Knowledge in Salesforce Lightning is preferred.
3+ years of experience on Team Management.
Problem solving, analytical and communication skills with the ability to think and act strategically and creatively.
Strong interpersonal skills; Must be a team player.
Excellent verbal & written communications skills, demonstrated proficiency in technical writing is required.
Self-motivated and ability to take ownership of activities.
Ability to meet deadlines and keep the business objectives to the core at all times.
Understanding of business and technical process interrelationships is essential
