Job Description

Cerner, the world’s largest Healthcare IT organization is growing and looking to hire a Senior Software Engineer. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will make enhancements to existing software with minimal direction, participate in code reviews and identify, moderate issues or deviations from best practices, collaborate on component level technical designs.

Additionally, you will own and assist others in debugging and documenting root cause analysis and resolution, identify process improvements at the team level to support the operations and development ecosystem.

You are also expected to provide software release support, mentor, and train new associates within the team.

Basic Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering with Computer science or Information Technology, Masters degree in Computer Applications or related field
  • At least 7 years’ of large scale application development experience using Ruby on Rails, MVC, React JS
  • At least 5 years’ of experience in Ruby on Rails, MVC, React JS
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • At least 5 years’ of experience of working with a Healthcare IT Company
  • At least 5 years’ of experience in Object Oriented Programming and Design
  • Expectations :

  • Willing to work additional hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Willing to travel as needed
  • Willing to work on a flexible schedule as needed

    All employees must be legally authorized to work in the country where the position is located. Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
