Job Brief Summary
Looking for a team leader who will provide leadership and direction for a team of designers. Understand the performance side of design, and also the business aspects.
Roles & Responsibilities
Experience in managing or leading design teams, provide direction and mentorship for a team.
Experience working across organizational boundaries to define, manage and prioritize work.
Collaborate closely with Product Leadership to define features and contribute to the overall direction of the given product area.
Ensure a high-quality implementation and user experience.
Build strong relationships with leaders and their teams.
Implement culture and principles within the group, while setting new standards in executional and operational excellence.
Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
Mandatory Skills & Knowledge
Should have a solid understanding of design systems.
Possess strong interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with design systems and principles (Color Theory, Typography).
Strong user experience at various stages of the design process (Wireframes, User Journeys, Storyboards, Mockups, and / or High Fidelity Prototypes).
Hands-on knowledge of mobile guidelines, new UI trends, etc.
Ability to lead and mentor a team of visual designers, information architects, and UX designers.
Drive projects from start to finish by collaborating with marketing and engineering partners.
Understanding the user-centered design process will be an added advantage.
