  • Application / Team Overview :

  • Validation Management & Shared Services (VMSS) within TTS Technology is looking for an SME who can understand, articulate and implement best practices in testing of functional and technical enhancements to the various Asia applications platform.
  • Purpose of this role will be to provide technical and business leadership to a geographically spread diverse testing teams.

    Role Description :

  • The SME functions as the conduit for their knowledge area, and applies their expertise to Lead technical and business testing team members in preparation and execution of test
  • Participate in requirements and design reviews with Product, Business Analysts and Development to assure that the product under development meets requirements and can be effectively tested.
  • Perform requirements reviews and traceability analyses to assess test coverage.

  • Develop test approach and strategies that are commensurate with project scope, complexity and risk of the business initiative.
  • Define test framework plans including planning and execution of test cycles (ST / SIT, Regression, Non Functional Tests etc.

    in both agile and waterfall environments.

  • Understands, articulates, and implements best practices related to their area of expertise.
  • Depending on the work environment, the subject matter expert may lead or be an active participant of a work-group with the need for specialized knowledge.
  • Validate the requirements and deliverables that describe the product(s) or service(s) that the project / program will produce
  • Test the product(s) or service(s) towards the end of the project / program (user acceptance testing), using and evaluating it for accuracy and usability, providing feedback to the project / program team
  • Resolve issues relevant to project / program deliverable(s) within their area of expertise
  • Qualifications

    Detail Role Specifications & Requirements Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 12+ years of relevant experience in Banking & Finance
  • Banking Products Experience with implementing various key Strategies and Tools
  • Technical / Functional Proficiency :

  • Rich experience and expertise in various Asia applications area
  • A domain expert in specific area backed by industry standard certification
  • Able to demonstrate an excellent grasp of business and operational processes in use in Citi in relation to the specified Product / Platform
  • Agile methodology & BDD experience will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of Oracle., PL / SQL, Stored procedures
  • Strong experience in leading / managing financial technology projects, using structured project tracing tools such as JIRA, Micro Focus ALM, MS Project or SharePoint
  • Extensive coursework / experience in quantitative analysis & statistical modeling will be a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be able to prepare presentations for executive level audience and familiarity with Power Point, Excel
  • Detailed-oriented, high level of intellectual curiosity and strong sense of ownership.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task effectively and work against tight deadlines
  • Good business acumen and the ability to connect analytics with business decisions
  • Strong analytical skills with hands on experience driving testing strategy
