Design complex quant research studies across disease areas, and build capabilities of the PLS PMR team by coaching analysts in complex methodologies, advanced statistical concepts and analytical tools.
Responsible for bringing latest industry and data / digital capabilities inhouse and driving quality of statistical and analytical output, and for upskilling (self and team) with agility, in step with the rapidly evolving business.
Work with the team to strengthen proposals and business pitches, showing end to end knowledge of designing customized research solutions, and proposing the right research methodology and analysis techniques for the right project.
Work with the market research team on overall planning of studies, including questionnaire designing, tracking of studies, especially those requiring knowledge and application of complex quantitative MR skills, statistical concepts, traditional and contemporary analytical tools (including AI / machine learning).
These could include : - Regression : Linear / Logistic / Stepwise etc - Segmentation K means / Hierarchical clustering / Latent class - Tradeoff analysis (Conjoint / Maxdiff) - Correspondence analysis / Multidimensional scaling - Pricing analytics - Forecasting models Implement and execute studies on local, regional & global level Drive innovation by implementing new methodologies, processes and / or solutions to strengthen current research practices Coordinate with the Integrated Insights Managers to plan and design market research analyses based on sound understanding of the research tools, techniques, datasets, and resources available and their use at various stages of the product life-cycle’.
Coach research and DP analysts in data collection, management (cleaning, tabulating) and analysis using the right statistical and analytic models to produce high quality business insights and improve business processes.
Design complex quantitative studies and execute them along with the existing market research team
Be the go to person for any guidance on complex market research analysis
Have complete knowledge of conducting advanced analysis using tools and decide its usability on market research projects
End to End management of Market research projects which includes proposal development, Coordination of KPI updates, questionnaire designing, management of fieldwork agencies, data analysis, compilation of findings into dashboards and distribution to key stakeholders
Execute ownership for PMR and enhance leadership in cooperation with preferred suppliers for PMR : Category Purchasing , Quality Management, Compliance

Preferred additional : Machine Learning / predictive modeling approaches like neural networks, random forest / SVM, decision trees, time series models, logistic / multiple regression, etc. Soft Skills :
Post Graduate degree in Life-sciences / Statistics / Medicine / Pharmacy. If Engineering / Mathematics - then relevant work experience in MR is a must MBA preferred Fluency in English is prerequisite, while knowledge of other in-scope country languages would be an advantage - 8-10 years relevant experience leading quant projects end to end in leading primary market research agencies - Preferred : Knowledge of the disease areas within the Pharma sector, with strong leadership and communication skills - Ability to communicate effectively and to have a persuasive and credible presentation style - Strong process / project management skills - Strong business acumen - Strong solution-orientation
