DIVISIONAL / DEPARTMENTAL OVERVIEW

Transfer Pricing Team is responsible for performing complex Transfer Pricing calculations, accounting for them and preparing and publishing MI’s around the TP numbers, for entities spread across all regions.

MAIN DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE :

  • Responsible for Transfer Pricing, including
  • Preparing Transfer Pricing calculations
  • Accounting for Transfer Pricing
  • Investigating Global P&L breaks in Transfer Pricing accounts
  • Preparing and posting of Transfer Pricing MIS reversals
  • Liaising with Tax Transfer Pricing Team globally
  • Liaising with settlement teams for all the regions above and getting the invoices settled
  • Acting as backup for Transfer Pricing tasks in the absence of other team members
  • Ensure that SOPs (standard operating procedures) are developed and kept up to date for all processes.
  • Perform analytical review of the process on a monthly basis and preparation of governance packs and MIS report.
  • Monitoring of intercompany breaks and resolution thereof on a timely basis
  • Tracking of open items and appropriate escalation in a timely manner
  • Ensuring timely and quality signoff of accounting balances on a monthly basis
  • Ensuring quality commentary of breaks reported
  • Contribute in ad-hoc projects to improve processes
  • Ensure that SOPs (standard operating procedures) are developed and kept up to date for all processes. Perform analytical review of the process on a monthly basis and preparation of governance packs and MIS report.
  • Liaising with auditors and other upstream departments on an ad-hoc basis
  • Manage hand-offs with other departments e.g. Entity Controllers, operations and intercompany Team
  • PERSON SPECIFICATION

    EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Total Experience of 5-7 year of which 5+ years’ experience in financial accounting in a banking environment, preferably within Investment banking background.
  • Alternatively degree as business analyst with total work experience of 5-7 years of which 5+ years’ experience in Financial accounting systems in a banking environment, preferably with Investment banking background.
  • WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Management accounting.
  • Financial Services Background preferable.
  • Previous Transfer Pricing experience
  • Strong Accounting Background & Analytical Skills
  • Stakeholder Management.
  • TECHNICAL / SOFT SKILLS

  • Strong client focus attitude.
  • Demonstrate good MS Office skills (practical Excel knowledge)
  • Knowledge of Financial Systems (PSFT, Essbase) preferable.
  • Solid conceptual and analytical skills with a flair for data and figures Focus on delivery.
  • Strong verbal and written communications abilities.
