about the role

CONTEXT OF THE SERVICE / PROJECT :

In the OBS group, Engineering provides expertise and support for the hosting platforms to external & internal business customers.

Domain Experience :

  • 4 to 5 years experiance in people Management
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in managing operations of Automation platform
  • Experience in Managing Automation technologies, Linux / Windows system,
  • Experience with Devops, Ansible, ELK, Python
  • about you

    Taking end to end ownership of Automation engineering in India Leading and managing all the activities assigned to Automation developement in India MSC

    Ensuring full and transparent communication with Service Owner / Functional Management i.e. Head of Automation Engineering Worldwide.

    Strong interlock with the Skillcenters & engineering teams worldwide to ensure a good collaboration between the teams

    Management of level 2 / 3 Developement & operations support

    Qualification Automation requests

    Problem Management support

    Change Management support

    Technical Audit

    Management of product industrialization

    technology watch (study, documentation)

    product release management (validation & documentation)

    training of Engineering products to other teams such as implementation, operations, Pre-Sales, and Solution & Marketing

    India technical vendor Relation to understand the vendor roadmap and to define the best OCB roadmap

    Tools and process :

  • Thorough understand of ITIL Incident / Change / Problem management processes.
  • Experience in Root Cause Analysis preparation and presentation to customers.
  • Experience in working on ITSM tools like Remedy, SNOW, Ocean etc.
  • Transversal skills :

  • It requires a good communication in English
  • It requires a good skill for write the technical document in English
