Business analyst who works closely with the business units to gain in-depth understanding of customer's business strategy, processes, services, roadmap and the context in which the business operates.
The Business Analyst is responsible for reviewing assigned business processes from end-to-end to identify and address operational, financial and technological risks and to come up with solutions to improve efficiency of the business.
Roles and Responsibilities
Must single handily deliver business solutions through the stages of requirements gathering, solutioning, monitoring development / QA.
UAT signoff and facilitate post implementation support
Must be responsible for defining the scope, quality and release date of a planned release. It is must drive for ""First time right"" and ""On-time delivery"".
Must manage stakeholders, negotiate, influence and drive the conversation / meeting and getting consensus from multiple stakeholders.
Perform industry research to clarify, define, or satisfy technology or business process issues
Prepare Business Analysis Plan, Current state analysis, Scope statement, Functional requirements and specifications, Information or Data models, user stories, Requirements management plan, User stories, Requirements traceability matrix, system requirements documents based on project requirements
Develop wireframes, workflows, use case diagrams, flowcharts, and other analysis-type documentation operating in web 3.0 environment
Development of user acceptance test scenarios and test cases, and testing activities necessary to assess the quality and completion of system implementations
Work with Technical development team to configure & develop the solution
Develop prototypes to prove out the success or failure of a concept and to gather feedback from users.
Excellent leadership skills, including ability to manage multiple tasks across various projects and products at a time
Following INVEST principal to create user stories. Must follow 3C's (Card, - Communication and Confirmations) of user story.
Create Application Roadmap and maintain prioritize backlog and user stories in JIRA or any other agile tool.
Defining acceptance test criteria . It is also expected to define the automated test using BDD or TDD approach.
Must work closely with development team to discuss the user stories and articulate the business value.
Provide functional support to development team to remove any hurdle in the project.
Must participate in development demo's, defect triage process periodically to ensure the build complies with the solution offered
Follow a structured process to resolve a hurdle. Must be involved in Dev, QA, UAT and Pilot test planning and execution of it.
Good to have in depth knowledge and proven track record of incident, problem and change management processes
Ensure application releases are delivered on the planed released date.
Negotiate the requirement with stakeholders during uat / go no go phases to ensure the agreed scope is delivered on release date.
Create project update reports for senior managements.
Liaise with the Clients to provide user support in terms of change management, training and issue management activities during post implementation phase
Troubleshoot production support issues post deployment and come up with solutions as required
What makes you a good fit for this role?
Minimum 3+ years business analysis experience.
Working experience in any one of the following business verticals Media / Education / Ecommerce / Financial or Public sector is mandatory
Strong understanding of digital marketing / digital solutions operating in web 3.0 environment
Excellent Business Analysis skills and problem solving skills having ability to convert complex requirements into simple presentable solution
Sound experience in Requirement Gathering & Elicitation process, in a structured way such as interview users & seek feedbacks
Excellent writing and presentation skills (ability to communicate complex ideas in a meaningful way) differentiating between functional and non-functional requirements etc.
Experience mapping business requirements and processes to the functionality of a product whilst identifying gaps and opportunities.
Experience in managing information requirements in line with approved record keeping and information management policies, and including traceability of business requirements.
Experienced in working with Drupal or Magento technologies
Experience in automation tool such as Cucumber is preferred.
Good to have knowledge and experience with quality management and quality processes in software development companies
Experienced in multiple tools like JIRA, Trello, Redmine, Draw.io, Visio, Excel, Word, ppt, Google Analytics, Lucid chart, Pencil, Invision, Zeplin etc.
Very strong critical thinking and analytical skills.

Experience with waterfall and agile / scrum techniques
CSPO / PSPO 1 certification is preferred
