OPPORTUNITY OVERVIEW seeks a passionate and highly skilled Security Operations Engineer who is eager to help ensure the security of a rapidly growing SaaS-based security company! This role is a part of the Security & Compliance team and will help drive cross-functional teams to accomplish company-wide information security initiatives that impact all aspects of the business.

Would you like to do this on a daily basis?

  • Support all efforts related to ZeroFOX’s security posture for most security matters across the enterprise, focusing on compliance-related security efforts
  • Serve as primary engineer for security awareness training as well as security policies, standards, procedures, controls, and auditing mechanisms
  • Act as the primary technical information security contact for customer security questionnaires
  • Serve as primary engineer for enterprise data mapping and vendor management
  • Triage and resolve security alerts from internal systems, providing operational support for the team as needed
  • Assist with conducting internal security assessments, prioritizing any gaps, and developing and implementing a prioritized remediation plan
  • Assist with monitoring and reporting of enterprise security posture
  • Assist with ensuring continuous compliance with standards such as NIST, SOC2, etc.
  • Do you have the right stuff?

  • Strong technical acumen and prior experience as it relates to information security, specifically compliance, policy, security regulation, and security awareness
  • Prior experience with data mapping and vendor management a plus
  • Prior experience successfully interacting with internal and external stakeholders, including non-technical business stakeholders, on matters related to information security
  • Prior experience responding to customer security questionnaires and assisting with security assessments
  • Prior experience maintaining information security policies
  • Prior experience monitoring for information security events
  • Prior experience triaging, managing, and responding to information security alerts; SIEM experience a plus
  • Prior experience working with standards such as ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, SOC2, PCI DSS, etc.
  • Experience performing above responsibilities and developing qualifications typically obtained in 3+ years
  • Written and spoken fluency in English
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to travel internationally occasionally (>
  • 10%)

  • Coding ability a plus
  • Ability and willingness to work 10a - 7p IST, plus rotated on call scheduling during off hours / weekends
