The IT Project Analyst 2 is a developing professional role. Applies specialty area knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing and / or evaluating processes and data.

Identifies policy gaps and formulates policies. Interprets data and makes recommendations. Researches and interprets factual information.

Identifies inconsistencies in data or results, defines business issues and formulates recommendations on policies, procedures or practices.

Integrates established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic understanding of related industry practices.

Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. Develops working knowledge of industry practices and standards.

Limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks / services provided. Impact of the job holder is restricted to own team.

The role is for project management analyst role for Global Financial Messaging (GFM) Applications connecting to the SWIFT infrastructure.

Provide Project Management duties for GFM CCB (Change Control Board), SME in handling Change Control Processes for UAT / TEST / PRE-PROD and PROD / COB environment, process requirements for GFM Applications.

Maintain database of incoming requests through the life cycle of the change.

The role involves working with GFM Application Development Teams, partner applications, business units (PS, CQE, TEM) & users.

Responsibilities :

  • Run weekly calls and maintain CCB (Change Control Board) Processes.
  • Overview and assist GFM AppDev teams to meet deadlines to attain approvals for PROD / COB changes.
  • Provide daily status updates on upcoming changes received for Global Financial Messaging applications.
  • SME for handling Change Control Process for UAT and PROD environment
  • Manage CCB documentation. Create weekly presentation about usage and status for various forums.
  • Provide assistance to partner application teams and other business units.
  • Deliver in accordance to project plans and liaise with vendors, project teams, operations, command center, system administrators.
  • Develops project task lists and executes / implements activities related to project communication, documentation, and reporting.
  • Collaborates in development of project business and system requirements and develops required project documentation.
  • Communicates with management regarding status of specific projects.
  • Utilizes project management tools to develop / create and prepare project status tracking reports and required metrics for reporting purposes;
  • analyzes reports and makes recommendations for process improvements.

  • Performs analysis of project deliverables to update / publish processes, procedures and standards; as well as communicate project status to management.
  • Participates in internal and external audits; based on analysis performed, interprets data to make recommendations to project timelines and related auditing activities.
  • Utilizes good understanding of IT project leadership procedures and concepts and basic knowledge of other technical areas.
  • Applies good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area.
  • Exchanges ideas and information in a concise and logical manner.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
  • Qualifications and Competencies :

  • 4-6 years experience in an IT project leadership role (combination of education / experience).
  • Project Management skills.
  • Database Management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of Office Suite : especially word, excel, access database.
  • Good knowledge of SharePoint, Collaborate, Confluence.
  • Knowledge of AGILE Methodology, JIRA is an advantage.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently.
  • Excellent Communication, organization and time management skills.
  • Precise, attention to detail is a must.
  • Experience in working with large set-up and businesses globally will be an advantage
  • Education :

  • Bachelor’s / University degree or equivalent experience
