New Product Commercialization Manager - Manufacturing
The role incumbent will be responsible to ensure end-to-end coordination and facilitation of the new product commercial production.
The role deliverables would include ensuring compliance to the agreed recipe, BOM, financials, factory capacity and timelines by coordinating across R&D Quality Manufacturing Sales & Marketing functions.
Manage and lead new product commercialization from the product development stage to commercial production stage through superior project management.
Builds and actively manages complex project plans / timelines by leading, facilitating and participating in project team meetings, issuing clear and action-oriented agendas and post-meeting action registers that clearly report progress, issues and risks.
Evaluate the commercial production feasibility of a new product in respect to plant capabilities and financial guardrails by working closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Quality, Finance, Marketing and Sales teams to successfully deliver the product.
Lead weekly Project Charter review meetings; responsible for effective facilitation and critical review of proposed projects that results in a cross functional decision to approve, suspend or deny project entry into portfolio.
Actively conduct comprehensive cross functional project risk assessments comprised of mitigation and contingency plans;
acted upon if necessary to keep the project on track or accelerate if business need exists.
Actively conduct comprehensive cross functional project evaluations to capture key learnings to enable continuous improvement in project commercialization execution.
Provide cohesion among cross-functional stakeholders, facilitating problem-solving and adding structure for resolution.
Analyze project information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
Supports effective commercialization by recommending creative, innovative approaches to break through barriers and challenge conventional thinking.
Provides project status and metric reports for roll-up into overall monthly portfolio status reporting.
Handle complaints, settle disputes, resolve conflicts, and negotiate with others.
Actively maintain a working knowledge of industry trends and project management practices.
Engineering / Food Technology Graduate with 8-10 years of Food industry experience
Strong process, product and production credibility along with project management skills
Ability to handle ambiguous situation with multiple stakeholders
At the same time ability to take others along without compromising on the process steps
Ability to pushback and hold his / her ground when required
Eye for detail and a strong drive for result
